Roy has been involved with software development for 18 years as a programmer, leader, and strategist at companies ranging from small startups to multi-national banks.
Prior to Devellocus, his team created the platform for DevOps within Bank of America to support on boarding application development teams for bankofamerica.com.
He is a former Manager with Andersen Consulting, and most recently a development team lead and Agile Coach at Bank of America. Roy has led small development teams, transformed existing teams to agile delivery, and helped craft a strategic vision for enterprise-wide agile transition. He has published two books on Agile software development, including Extreme Programming Applied: Playing to Win in the Addison-Wesley XP Series (co-authored with Ken Auer).
Roy holds a BA in Public Policy from The College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, VA, which demonstrates how useful college is to software development.
