Mitch Bergman

Mitch Bergman is a Business Systems Consultant in the Project Management Office for Wells Fargo’s Retirement Technology group.  Mitch is responsible for assisting the PMO lead with all things compliance, as well as being a coach and guide for the team’s Agile practice.  Since he joined the team two years ago, Mitch has been a key resource in the group’s re-commitment to Agile, bringing his energy and fresh perspective (being a recent graduate) to help teams set up and fine tune their Agile practice. Mitch has played a large role in helping stand up new Scrum teams, especially by guiding them to use right tools based on their Agile maturity level.  Many of those teams are non-software-development teams, but they are still able to use Agile by focusing on the Agile process and on how each of their team members work with one another.  Mitch believes that any team and anybody can use Agile – he even has his own “backlog” of home improvement projects that he reviews on a regular basis. He also believes Agile can be managed with tools even as simple as a spreadsheet.  Going forward, Mitch will continue to help new and existing teams recommit to Agile regardless of the tools available and regardless of what they produce.
