Michael Beaumont has a diverse IT career with experience in Mainframe and Distributed Systems Management, Operations and Root Cause Analysis, and he is currently the Application Infrastructure Manager for Wells Fargo’s Retirement Technology group. In this role he manages: Operating Systems, Middleware, Certificates, Load balancers and firewalls through-out their lifecycle for the Retirement Technology group. This includes coordinating provisioning, tier three infrastructure support, maintenance implementation planning and execution, vulnerability management, access management, and decommissioning. Over the past two years, Michael has leveraged Retirement Technology’s mature Agile program to implement innovative Agile-based methodologies for the management of Certificates and Maintenance coordination. Adoption of Agile based methods has enabled Michael’s team to quantifiably improve results while simultaneously enhancing their ability to dynamically respond to rapidly changing workloads. In the upcoming months, Michael and team will focus on leveraging what they have learned to enhance the interactions between the Infrastructure Management and Software development scrum teams.
